A NEW SONG.
To the Tune of Blubber-Hall, alias Kitty Fell.
I.
Some muse assist me to relate,
In joyful verse, the happy state
Of one, whom I would sing;
Who now in triumph great doth ride,
With pointless arrows by his side,
That in their shaft do ring.
Chorus, Charming Peggy, lovely Peggy,
O charming Peggy, Peggy, Proe.
. . . [4 more verses of 6 lines each, all followed by
Chorus, Charming Peggy, &c.]
